Lemon Poppy Tea Cake

This amazing little tea cake is easy to make and super tasty. So tasty in fact that it disappeared way earlier than planned! Oh well, I’ll just have to bake more now =) I discovered that it most excellent when eaten with a generous topping of blackberry jam.

I didn’t use the right size pan so it’s a little squished looking. The taste is all there though!

Banana Bread

I made this recipe from one in Babycake’s book! Babycakes is an all vegan and mostly gluten-free bakery in NYC. They have amazing stuff, if you’re ever in the area definitely check them out!!

Serving suggestion: Serve warm with apple butter on top!

Pumpkin Bread

I made this pumpkin bread from the Allergen-Free Baker’s Handbook. I looove pumpkin bread and banana bread together with apple butter, one of favorite treats. This was also very simple to make. I used a can of pumpkin pie filling and so I skipped the step of adding the spices.

A slice with apple butter! So good.

Rustic Moroccan loaves

Rustic Moroccan loaves from the Allergen-Free Baker’s Handbook. Not as good as the focaccia, but not bad. I wasn’t a big fan of the texture of these, I might need to do some tweaking to make them better.

Focaccia

This is probably the best tasting bread that ever existed, ever. I could eat the whole thing right now. Omg. IT’S SO GOOD! I’ve been super disappointed with all the gluten-free breads I’ve bought – some are just “ok”, others are downright bad. But this is AMAZING.
